Experienced or novice, the Golf Learning Center at The Sea Pines Resort, will help you take your game to the next level.

The instructors at The Golf Learning Center will work with your unique game so you can improve your full swing, short game, golf functional fitness, course, and emotional performance, as well as club fitting. Each of these areas are the building blocks of a great golf game, but the mortar is how you practice after you leave The Golf Learning Center. Our instructors will send follow-up material and provide guidance on how to most effectively practice the game.

The mission of the Sea Pines Golf Learning Center Performance program is to assist the long-term development and enjoyment of the game by creating a mindset of continuous improvement through preparation, competition, and life-long learning. Performers who seek out and embrace purposeful challenges place no limit on their potential. The Sea Pines Golf Learning Center staff fosters and supports this approach which lays the foundation for steady growth and enhanced performance to emerge from all involved

Matt Cuccaro brings a modern and fully integrated approach to mental and emotional excellence within and beyond golf environments. Committed to optimally serving the students, coaches and staff at Sea Pines Resort, our Performance Coaching staff grounds itself in cognitive science, sport and social psychology and the latest research and grounding principles of the sport sciences.

Experience SwingFitAI at the Golf Learning Center. SwingFitAI is the first artificial-intelligence-powered swing-fitting system in golf. Working with 8 cameras recording 360 frames a second (producing more than 600 images per swing), SwingFitAI helps the Golf Learning Center’s master fitters better understand how the golf club and shaft interact with each golfer’s unique tempo and movement.

The fitting starts with the golfer taking swings with a defined set of control shafts, producing nearly half a million data points that are measured against a proprietary set of variables to recommend optimal combinations of club and shaft. Those are then tested on the driving range, providing visual and radar-measured results. SwingFitAI is calibrated to work with all the major brands of clubs and shafts.

Looking to gain more distance, reduce the risk of injury, or make a swing enhancement easier to achieve? The Sea Pines Resort offers golf-specific training sessions focused on overall fitness to help you improve your game.

With the help of our Titleist Performance Institute-certified trainers, you'll get in better playing shape while improving a host of important skills.

Class-A PGA teaching professional Jess Watkins oversees The Golf Learning Center at The Sea Pines Resort's club fitting program. Watkins has more than 30 years of experience teaching all aspects of the game and is one of our resort school instructors. His teaching expertise is a valuable tool that helps to enhance the club fitting experience. All fittings are done utilizing our state-of-the-art facility including TrackMan and Flight Scope radar technologies. These tools enable the student to leave with a clear understanding of how and why properly fit clubs are a vital component in improving their game. A detailed club specification form is given to each student along with recommendations on set make up and club manufacturer.

The Learning Center carries Cobra, Titleist, and Adams as our primary fitting options. We can help you build the perfect set make up or find the driver that optimizes your launch conditions for maximum yardage and accuracy.
